Our small team at Rusty Dog Coffee is on a never-ending quest to bring world class coffee directly to you.
We are thrilled to spotlight two new additions to our lineup that take your palate on a journey from the volcanic slopes of Indonesia to the lush highlands of Central America.
Bali Kintamani: Natural Process
Our new Bali Kintamani is a nice example of what happens when tradition meets unique terroir. Grown in the volcanic soils of Mount Agung, these beans are a Natural Process, meaning the coffee cherry is dried with the fruit still on the seed. The remaining fruit provides subtle sweetness that gets enhanced and pushed forward during the roasting process.
Roast Level: Light
Flavor Profile: Expect a syrupy body with striking notes of dried fruit, toasted oat & molasses.
Why we love it: It offers a fruity complexity that is characteristic of the Kintamani highlands, balanced by a smooth finish that makes it incredibly approachable.
We’ve never sourced a coffee from Bali and this is one we are proud to offer. Try it today. We don’t have a lot of it.
Panama Chiriqui: Washed Process
If you prefer a coffee that is crisp, clean, and sophisticated, the Panama Chiriqui is calling your name. Hailing from the renowned Chiriquí province—home to some of the most sought-after coffee real estate in the world—this light roast is all about clarity and brightness.
Roast Level: Light
Flavor Profile: This coffee shines with floral aromas of earl grey while rounding out with a delicate sweetness of mango and cinnamon crumble.
Why we love it: The light roast profile preserves the delicate nuances of the high-altitude washed Panama beans. This makes for a great pour-over or a bright morning brew in your Moccamaster or Fellow Aidan brewer.
Ready to level up your morning routine? Grab a bag of the Bali Kintamani or Panama Chiriqui today and taste the difference that responsible sourcing and craft roasting can make.
